The Story Behind The Breathe Network – Mommy Mystic Interview
“Every trauma victim experiences a unique array of individual physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual symptoms and I was really able to address all of them through these various healing arts modalities. Whether it was sleep disturbances and nightmares, tension or pain in a part of my body, or an overwhelming sense of sadness and despair – I was able to address them each in a different way. It was like putting together this puzzle, coming at my responses and reactions from many different angles.” ~Molly Boeder Harris
In my interview with Molly, we talked about how yoga and holistic modalities contributed to her own healing from sexual trauma, how to teach a trauma-sensitive yoga class, why she founded The Breathe Network, and how healing practitioners of all types can become more trauma-sensitive and how they can apply to join The Breathe Network’s provider directory. In addition to being the Founder and Executive Director of The Breathe Network, Molly also teaches trauma-sensitive yoga classes and offers private instruction for survivors of sexual violence on a sliding-scale.
