Experience

Kinder in The Keys is a women-owned business. We have an innate understanding of the spectrum of women’s mental health needs and specialize in trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health-related challenges.

We focus on an integrated communications approach that connects clinical, medical, and wellness professionals with clients. Being a women’s depression treatment center requires personalized attention. Our low client to therapist ratio helps women address immediate mental health needs while providing tools to support long-term success and happiness.

Our Interest in Working with Survivors

Trauma can have a devastating impact on a woman’s life. Traumatic experiences can leave women feeling isolated, alone, and afraid. They may feel like they can’t trust anyone and that the world is dangerous. As a result, women with trauma are most likely to struggle with relationships, work, and self-esteem. Trauma can also cause physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach aches, and pain.

Women who enter our trauma treatment center in Florida carry their own stories and disorders. Most of their traumatic events range from emotional abuse and physical injury to neglect and sexual assault. The impacts of traumatic events can be significant and far-reaching. However, with the help of a qualified trauma recovery program, individuals can begin to heal the emotional and physical wounds caused by trauma.

At Kinder in the Keys, we offer various services and amenities to help our clients feel comfortable and supported. In addition, our compassionate team commits to helping you achieve your goals for healing and recovery. With our trauma recovery program, you can begin to heal the wounds of trauma and reclaim your life.

Our Approach to Trauma-Informed Care

The Trauma Resolution Program at Kinder in the Keys focuses on dealing specifically with stressful and traumatic incidents in one's life. Particular emphasis is on developing the necessary coping skills to deal with these incidents. It is not uncommon for those recovering from drugs and alcohol to have gone through traumatic events before or during their active addiction. Some even come into addiction treatment bound by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Therapy for PTSD can help. Trauma programs like those specializing in Trauma Resolution Therapy may be the most sensible way to overcome the disorder. Trauma Resolution Therapy is an amazing process that quickly and painlessly eliminates the negative effects of trauma. When individuals experience trauma, deep parts of the mind continue to respond to that trauma long after the experience has passed. These repressed feelings affect thinking, emotions, relationships, health, and behavior.

How Our Practice Holistically Addresses the Impacts of Sexual Trauma

When treating different women’s mental health conditions, it’s critical to have a dynamic team of care providers. To be the best mental health facility, we employ a number of diverse professionals who bring experience and empathy to every client interaction. Being a physician-owned, private mental health facility, Kinder in the Keys is able to offer holistic mental health treatments in an intimate environment.

We believe that tailor-made care plans result in real progress, which is why we take a personal, holistic approach to every patient. The location of our trauma treatment center in Florida allows us to offer a variety of different therapies and modalities to help women seeking recovery.

By choosing options that fit their evolving needs, you can work through traumatic experiences and obtain the necessary tools to recover once you leave our facility.
